Stability of Linear Multiple‎ Different Order Caputo Fractional System ‎‏

    Get PDF
In this paper, we introduce a new equivalent system to the higher order Caputo fractional system ‎‎(CFS) . This equivalent system has multiple order Caputo fractional derivatives ‎‎(CFDs). These CFDs are lying between zero and one.‎ As well ‎as, we find the fundamental solution for linear CFS with multiple order CFDs. Also, we introduce new criteria of studying the stability (asymptotic stability) of the ‎linear CFS with multiple order CFDs. These criteria can be applied in three cases: ‎the first, all CFDs is lying between zero and one. The second, all CFDs are lying ‎between one and two. Finally, some of CFDs are lying between zero and one, ‎and the rest of these derivatives are lying between one and two. The criteria are ‎depending on the position of eigenvalues of the matrix system in the complex plane. ‎These criteria are considered as a generalized of the classical criteria which is ‎used to study the stability of linear first ODEs. Also, these criteria are considered ‎as generalized of the criteria which used to study the stability same order CFS in ‎case when all CFDs lying between zero and one, also in case when all CFDs lying ‎between one and two. Several examples are given to show the behavior of the ‎solution near the equilibrium point.‎ Keywords: Caputo fractional derivatives; Linear Caputo fractional system ‎; Fundamental solution Stability analysis

Negative Ion Drift and Diffusion in a TPC near 1 Bar

Drift velocity and longitudinal diffusion measurements are reported for a Negative Ion TPC (NITPC) operating with Helium + carbon disulfide gas mixtures at total pressures from 160 to 700 torr. Longitudinal diffusion at the thermal-limit was observed for drift fields up to at least 700 V/cm in all gas mixtures tested. The results are of particular interest in connection with mechanical simplification of Dark Matter searches such as DRIFT, and for high energy physics experiments in which a low-Z, low density, gaseous tracking detector with no appreciable Lorentz drift is needed for operation in very high magnetic fields.Comment: 7 pages, 3 figure

Performance of the CLEO III LiF-TEA Ring Imaging Cherenkov Detector in a High Energy Muon Beam

    Get PDF
The CLEO III Ring Imaging Cherenkov detector uses LiF radiators to generate Cherenkov photons which are then detected by proportional wire chambers using a mixture of CH4_4 and TEA gases. The first two photon detector modules which were constructed, were taken to Fermilab and tested in a beam dump that provided high momentum muons. We report on results using both plane and sawtooth shaped radiators. Specifically, we discuss the number of photoelectrons observed per ring and the angular resolution. The particle separation ability is shown to be sufficient for the physics of CLEO III

Cauchy Problem for Fractional Ricatti‎ Differential Equations ‎Type with Alpha Order Caputo Fractional Derivatives

    Get PDF
In this paper, we investigate solution of the fractional Ricatti differential equations (FRDEs) with alpha order Caputo fractional derivatives. In fact, FRDEs are analogous of the Ricatti‎ ordinary differential equations. The multi power series method is used to obtain a useful formula that is implemented to find an explicit solution of Cauchy problem for FRDEs without solving any integral. This formula is explicit and easy to compute by using Maple software to get explicit solution. Also, it is shown that the proposed formula can be used to solve the Cauchy problem for Ricatti‎ ordinary differential equations

Detecting Deepfakes with Deep Learning and Gabor Filters

The proliferation of many editing programs based on artificial intelligence techniques has contributed to the emergence of deepfake technology. Deepfakes are committed to fabricating and falsifying facts by making a person do actions or say words that he never did or said. So that developing an algorithm for deepfakes detection is very important to discriminate real from fake media. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are among the most complex classifiers, but choosing the nature of the data fed to these networks is extremely important. For this reason, we capture fine texture details of input data frames using 16 Gabor filters indifferent directions and then feed them to a binary CNN classifier instead of using the red-green-blue color information. The purpose of this paper is to give the reader a deeper view of (1) enhancing the efficiency of distinguishing fake facial images from real facial images by developing a novel model based on deep learning and Gabor filters and (2) how deep learning (CNN) if combined with forensic tools (Gabor filters) contributed to the detection of deepfakes. Our experiment shows that the training accuracy reaches about 98.06% and 97.50% validation. Likened to the state-of-the-art methods, the proposed model has higher efficiency

We describe the design, construction and performance of a Ring Imaging Cherenkov Detector (RICH) constructed to identify charged particles in the CLEO experiment. Cherenkov radiation occurs in LiF crystals, both planar and ones with a novel ``sawtooth\u27\u27-shaped exit surface. Photons in the wavelength interval 135--165 nm are detected using multi-wire chambers filled with a mixture of methane gas and triethylamine vapor. Excellent pion/kaon separation is demonstrated

PAAD: POLITICAL ARABIC ARTICLES DATASET FOR AUTOMATIC TEXT CATEGORIZATION

    Get PDF
Now day’s text Classification and Sentiment analysis is considered as one of the popular Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks. This kind of technique plays significant role in human activities and has impact on the daily behaviours. Each article in different fields such as politics and business represent different opinions according to the writer tendency. A huge amount of data will be acquired through that differentiation. The capability to manage the political orientation of an online article automatically. Therefore, there is no corpus for political categorization was directed towards this task in Arabic, due to the lack of rich representative resources for training an Arabic text classifier. However, we introduce political Arabic articles dataset (PAAD) of textual data collected from newspapers, social network, general forum and ideology website. The dataset is 206 articles distributed into three categories as (Reform, Conservative and Revolutionary) that we offer to the research community on Arabic computational linguistics. We anticipate that this dataset would make a great aid for a variety of NLP tasks on Modern Standard Arabic, political text classification purposes. We present the data in raw form and excel file. Excel file will be in four types such as V1 raw data, V2 preprocessing, V3 root stemming and V4 light stemming

Design, Synthesis and Acute Anti-Inflammatory Evaluation of New Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Agents Having 4-Thiazolidinone Pharmacophore

Naproxen suffers from general side effects of NSAIDs, owing to the presence of free carboxylic group. The study was aimed to retard the adverse effects of gastrointestinal origin. New series of 4-thiozolidinones derivatives of naproxen were synthesized Va-f. The structures of synthesized compounds have been established on the basis of their spectral FT-IR and 1H NMR data. In vivo acute anti-inflammatory effects of the synthesized compounds were evaluated in rats using egg-white induced edema model of inflammation. The tested compounds and the reference drug produced significant reduction of paw edema with respect to the effect of propylene glycol 50%v/v (control group). Compounds Va-e exhibited potent anti-inflammatory effect than naproxen (50mg/kg, i.p.) at 180-240 min., while compound Vf exhibited lower anti-inflammatory effect.
